After the extension build for the house the garden needed a complete rethink on how it connected with the internal space and how it was viewed from inside.

This garden needed the levels re-adjusting to connect with the new extension and make the flow from inside to outside more natural as well as provide a nice view from both the inside and outside.

Project description

Following the completion of a modern home extension, the relationship between indoor living and the landscape often demands a fresh perspective. For this project, the primary challenge was bridging the transition between the newly expanded interior and the outdoor space. Ground levels required careful re-engineering to establish a seamless, natural threshold that invites movement outdoors while making the garden feel like an organic continuation of the home.

The redesign focused as much on sightlines as on physical flow. By restructuring the layout and elevation changes, we framed captivating views from key vantage points within the new rooms, transforming the garden into a living backdrop through every season. Whether viewed through wide glass doors or experienced from within the garden itself, the balanced levels now create a unified, functional sanctuary tailored to modern indoor-outdoor living.
