Project overview

This courtyard garden in Teddington needed a refresh following internal renovations and an extension to the Victorian property.

Compact lawn area enclosed by timber cladding with corner planting. Restored courtyard garden with planting and lawn against timber-clad fencing.
Large decorative planters with tall plants and trees on paved area.

Before and after

We restored the original concrete planters and introduced timber battens to enclose the garden, giving the space a transformation that matched the newly completed extension.

Project description

The restoration of the planters, together with new timber cladding, created a cost-effective makeover for this small garden. Additional planting and subtle lighting extended its use into the evening, while hidden storage was integrated into the seating to make the most of the compact space for a young family.
