Courtyard garden, Chelsea.
A very small courtyard garden and roof terrace transformed into a usable spaces in the heart of Chelsea.
Project overview
We transformed a very small courtyard garden and roof terrace in the heart of Chelsea into a functional and stylish space. For the courtyard garden, we used elegant clay pavers and rendered planters to create a clean, modern look while maximizing the available space. On the roof terrace, we installed composite decking and softwood timber to ensure durability, with cedar battens providing privacy and a cohesive design. The use of natural materials across both areas unified the two spaces, creating a seamless and inviting outdoor retreat for the client to enjoy.
Before and after
This whole property was being renovated in the heart of a private street in Chelsea. We were able to carry out the work before the renovation. The property hadn’t been updated since the 1980’s.
Project description
This property in the heart of Chelsea was going through a major renovation project and the garden as small as it was, being 3mteres by 2 meters exactly, and a similar size for the roof terrace was central to adding more space. Both adding more room to the property and allow the client to spend time outside.
