Project overview
We recently completed an ambitious circular seating area for a client, combining functionality and style to create a stunning outdoor retreat. The design centers around a warm fire pit and lush planting, bringing both atmosphere and comfort to the space. Rendered concrete blocks provide a strong, durable base for the seating area, while composite decking was selected for the seat itself, blending elegance with low maintenance. This setup not only ensures long-lasting quality but also gives the space a modern aesthetic, making it an inviting focal point for relaxation and social gatherings.

The site for the circular seating area and fire pit was dominated by a large tree stump which we took out before the ambitious build could take place.
Project description
We took on the challenge of bringing our client’s vision to life by creating a circular seating area on a tricky site dominated by a large, rooted tree stump. Instead of seeing the stump as an obstacle, we got about the long and hard task of taking it our where others had failed. Our team’s “can-do” attitude ensured that every element of the build met our client’s expectations, transforming the initial constraints into standout features. The circular seating area was tied together with a stunning planting scheme that softened the concrete and decking, blending natural beauty with structured elegance and creating a cohesive, inviting atmosphere that’s now a true highlight of their garden.
